Alan M. Since 1990, Mr. Levin, as president and principal stockholder of AML Entertainment, facilitated the funding for the acquisition of six professional baseball franchises. He is the Managing General Partner of Palisades Baseball, Ltd., owner and operator of the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, a Class A franchise in New York-Pennsylvania League, affiliated with the Cleveland Indians. Palisades Baseball has bought and sold several franchises since 1990, including the acquisition and subsequent sale in 2003 of the expansion Erie SeaWolves, a Class AA franchise in the Eastern League, affiliated with the Detroit Tigers and the 1990 acquisition and September 2006 sale of the South Bend Silver Hawks, a Class A franchise in the Midwest league, affiliated with the Arizona Diamondbacks. In 2004 Mr. Levin acquired the Charleston Alley Cats (now the “West Virginia Power”), a Class A franchise in the South Atlantic League, currently affiliated with the Milwaukee Brewers. As one of its principal owners, he also served as president of the Modesto Athletics, a Class A franchise in the California league, until its sale in August 1994. In addition to operating Minor League baseball franchises, AML Entertainment produces and promotes live concerts and special events at the franchise venues. In June 1999, Mr. Levin, with two partners, acquired the expansion Arena Football League franchise to locate in Chicago. The CHICAGO RUSH began play in April 2001 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL. The franchise has achieved the unique distinction of being in the League playoffs in its inaugural season as well as in the playoffs in each season since, and winning the World Championship in 2006. In addition to the AFL franchise, the ownership group has rights to three af2 franchises. During 1991 Mr. Levin created the UPPER DECK, a full service food catering company located in Coveleski Regional Stadium, in South Bend, Indiana which was sold in September 2006 with the South Bend franchise. Mr. Levin independently produced the made-for-television movies entitled RED EARTH, WHITE EARTH and MANY HAPPY RETURNS, and was responsible for the creation of the distribution and financing package that resulted in the production of the made-for-television movie entitled A STRANGER WAITS. From 1984 to 1986, Mr. Levin served as President of CBS Productions, responsible for the production and theatrical distribution of feature films produced by CBS, and for the foreign television distribution of all CBS produced television programming and feature films. Prior to 1984, Mr. Levin held a number of executive positions at CBS News, CBS Sports, and CBS Entertainment, most recently as Executive Vice President of CBS Entertainment, responsible for the operating departments of the division; Programming, Finance, Business Affairs, Advertising/Promotion, and Press and Information. In his capacity as Executive Vice President, CBS Entertainment, he was responsible for an annual budget in excess of one billion dollars. His primary responsibility at CBS Entertainment from 1978 through 1984 was to oversee the acquisition of all programming developed for and appearing on the CBS Television Network. Upon graduation from law school Mr. Levin practiced law in New York City until he joined CBS News in 1969 as a talent and program negotiator. He was a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Hollywood Radio and Television Society, where he also served as a member of its Board of Directors. He also served as Chairman of the Television and Radio Committee of the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues (NAPBL), the Minor League Baseball governing Association. Mr. Levin is a member of the
New York Bar. He graduated from Brooklyn Law School, receiving his Juris Doctor
degree in 1967 and is a graduate from Brooklyn College, where he earned his
